A father in China punished his 11-year-old son for playing mobile games by making him play for 17 hours straight without rest. The incident, which took place in Shenzhen, was shared by the father on the video-sharing platform Douyin.
The father, surnamed Huang, discovered his son playing games secretly at 1:30am and sent him a message saying he could play all night on the condition he did not sleep. Huang’s goal was to make his son play for 24 hours, but the boy fell asleep after 12 hours.
A very Unusual Punishment
He later apologized to his father and promised to never play mobile games before bed. What an unusual punishment, ya!
