The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has identified a man known as Datuk Roy as Hussein Nasir, 54, and is seeking him to assist with the Jana Wibawa programme investigations. MACC urged the public to provide any information about Hussein’s whereabouts to the investigating officer.

Previously, a local news site reported that “Datuk Roy” is being sought by anti-corruption officials as the “main planner” of a corruption case linked to the MACC’s probe into the Jana Wibawa programme.
The programme was introduced in November 2020 as a Covid-19 stimulus initiative to help Bumiputera contractors, and the former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has since been charged with abuse of power and money laundering in relation to the project.
