Malaysian actor Kamal Adli was attacked by a man wielding a baton in Singapore on Sunday, causing multiple head injuries while the attacker, a Singaporean citizen, will be charged today.

Kamal’s actress wife, Uqasha Senrose, claimed that her husband was assaulted after attending an event in the country between 9 pm and 10 pm.

While taking the picture, a man approached Kamal Adli and pulled out a baton from his pocket and repeatedly hit Kamal in the back of the head.

Uqasha posted a screenshot of a threatening WhatsApp message from a Singapore number, which is apparently that of the man who attacked her husband violently on Sunday:

“Hey, let Kamal Adli, that dog, know that I must kill him. I will torture him till the end ok. All of you are bastard dogs.”

Kamal’s blood was all over his shirt, and the man continued to hit him even when he was on the ground. Uqasha and her siblings, who were with them during the incident, were also threatened by the perpetrator.

The incident involving the couple sparked outrage when Uqasha uploaded a short video on Instagram, showing herself crying and asking the public to pray for Kamal.

Singapore police arrested a 33-year-old suspect and seized the baton used in the attack as evidence. Investigations are currently ongoing, and the suspect has been charged with voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon and possession of an offensive weapon.

Kamal’s attack has drawn attention to the issue of violence against celebrities and the need for greater security measures to protect them. The incident has also highlighted the importance of public awareness and education regarding the harmful effects of violence and the need for peaceful conflict resolution.

It is vital to promote a culture of non-violence and to work together to build safer and more peaceful communities for everyone.

The attack on Kamal Adli underscores the importance of promoting a culture of peace and respect for human rights, including the right to personal security and protection from violence.

It is essential to create safe and secure environments that allow individuals to express themselves freely and pursue their careers without fear of harm. The incident also underscores the need for law enforcement agencies to take proactive measures to prevent violence and hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.
