A pregnant woman in Indonesia has been arrested for allegedly hiring a group of thugs to murder her friend over a dispute of RM567.17. The woman, Jihan, had loaned the victim, Haricapri Sihombing, RP2 million (S$170) to bail his cousin out of jail.
When he failed to return the money or produce his cousin, Jihan contacted her cousin, who organised the group of thugs to find and attack Haricapri.
Thugs Caught
The victim was assaulted at three different locations and suffered a serious head injury from being hit with a wooden beam. He died in hospital three days later. The woman faces 12 years in jail if found guilty and three others are still on the run while police have arrested three people so far.
