A recent survey reveals that 76% of Singaporeans trust their government, the highest trust level among listed institutions and consistent with previous years. Trust in NGOs are 65 per cent, business (62 per cent) and media (59 per cent).
NGOs follow with 65% trust, then businesses at 62%, and media at 59%. The overall trust index remains steady at 66%. Singapore is among six countries with high trust in government, including China, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, and Indonesia.
Singaporeans Love PAP?
In contrast, Argentina, South Africa, Japan, and South Korea exhibit lower trust levels. Singaporeans do love their government!
