Former Umno Supreme Council member Tajuddin Abdul Rahman rejected offers to join Bersatu and PAS despite being suspended from party membership since October.
Tajuddin hopes to rejoin UMNO again
He hoped his six-year suspension would be lifted, and he apologised for criticising Umno President Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in his appeal. He loves Umno and declined offers from other parties after being dropped from defending the Pasir Salak parliamentary seat.
He criticised those who did not speak up and only said “yes sir yes sir,” saying they did not really help the President. Despite being suspended, expelled from MKT, and criticised over various issues. Furthermore, he does not see himself with any party other than Umno. Rumours circulated that several former top Umno leaders would join PAS, including Tajuddin.
