The head of the Ministry of Transport (MOT), Anthony Loke recently came out with a statement that the government will deal with the parent company of Rapid KL accordingly if any problems are rising. The frequent LRT and MRT breakdowns are making Malaysians tired of using the public transportation systems we have.
MOT to “deal” with this problem
Netizens are calling for the sacking of the Prasarana CEO. They claim that the problem is rooted from the top of the corporation. They are stating that more preventative measures are needed in order to stop the frequent breakdowns of the public transportation systems here.
Malaysians are also asking questions on the breakdown of the Kajang MRT. The line is still considered as a new line in the world of mass rapid systems. Other MRT lines such as Singapore’s are pushing 40 years old without any major technical issues.
