The internet is not going to tolerate people who spread lies and this time it is an MP from the Perikatan National – one more so to say after so many caught before him speaking fake news – who’s statement in Parliament regarding the sale of kidneys by some people who could not withdraw EPF or KWSP money.
A doctor has come out strongly against the MP saying the latter should think twice before making such remarks. So far, we did not hear of any actions taken by the Speaker of the Parliament against the said MP for ‘bohong’ in the August house.
Illegal To Sell Kidneys
Dr Rafidah Abdullah has since debunked the MP’s statement in a tweet (April 5), saying that it’s illegal to sell or buy organs in Malaysia.
“Are you okay, Wan Fahysal? There’s no such thing as selling kidneys in Malaysia.” Dr Rafidah also stressed that it’s not only illegal to sell or buy kidneys in the country, but the sale of any organs is completely prohibited. She urged the politician to mind his words. “For goodness sake, please think before you talk.”
