French fashion brand Dior has come under fire once again for alleged racism. The brand was criticised for a now-deleted Instagram post featuring an Asian model pulling her eyes up in a gesture deemed derogatory towards Asians.
This is not the first time Dior has faced accusations of racism. In 2021, the brand was criticised for a photo shoot depicting a Chinese model with a “gloomy face” and “sinister eyes”.

The brand’s controversies have caused outrage on social media, prompting apologies from photographers and calls for greater diversity and sensitivity in the fashion industry.
