Youth Vote Swing Possible?
As Kedah gears up for its state elections in July, the PH Election Director, Datuk Zamri Yusof, believes that the credibility of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has increased recently, potentially swaying younger voters.
Zamri highlights that while the government coalition will continue to get support from those above 40, signs of change in attitude towards Anwar among younger voters could help PH.
PAS-PN Overconfident?
However, the opposition faces a challenge from PAS, which is banking on Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor’s popularity to win the state elections. Zamri warns that overconfidence may be the enemy of PAS-PN in the upcoming polls.
