Former PAS member Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali criticized PAS for claiming exclusive rights to the Islamic struggle and expelling Muslims from the community.

He argued that other parties also fight for Islam and questioned PAS’s interpretation of Islamic principles. He highlighted that PAS is not the “Muslim congregation” and leaving the party means joining the larger Muslim community led by the King.

The former PAS leader emphasized that PAS leaders are obsessed with the party and mentioned past leaders who left PAS. His remarks challenge PAS’s monopoly on the Islamic struggle and the ‘right’ for the Islamists to call those who leave the party as outcasts of the ‘Islamic community’.
