Former UMNO Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin met with Bersatu President Muhyiddin Yassin today, sparking curiosity about his political trajectory following his expulsion from UMNO earlier this year. The details of the discussion between Khairy and Muhyiddin remain undisclosed at this point.
Khairy’s offers for membership in political parties
Bersatu has extended a central position offer to him, while the PN alliance has significant plans for his involvement in the upcoming elections across six states. In the meantime, a counterfeit letter has been circulating, falsely claiming that PKR offered KJ a membership in the party and a non-existent position as deputy president, following his recent participation in a meeting with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to discuss economic matters.
PKR’s Communications Director, Fahmi Fadzil, promptly dismissed the letter, highlighting typographical inconsistencies. Khairy, having received multiple offers from different parties, remains undecided and has even playfully contemplated establishing his own party after his expulsion from UMNO.
