Hopes are for national track cycling star Datuk Mohd Azizulhasni Awang to continue working hard. And in the process get Malaysia’s first gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Outstanding Performances

Azizulhasni registered outstanding performances at the Asian Track Cycling Championships (ACC) 2023, where he secured two gold medals in the sprint and keirin events.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who also serves as the Sports Development Cabinet Committee chairman,expressed his hope that he and other Malaysian athletes for their dedication in bringing glory to the country on the international stage.

Additionally, Zahid congratulated national cyclist Muhammad Fadhil Mohd Zonis for his victory in the 1-kilometre individual time trial event, ending Malaysia’s decade-long drought in the competition.
