Bali is now known as one of the more expensive getaways for tourists as their prices are not as cheap as they used to be. It appears that netizens are complaining that a standard meal of white rice, eggs and fish can cost more than RM100 per person. However, some are not surprised at the money they are charging now.
Bali restaurants charging RM300 for “normal food”
Netizens are complaining that at these stalls in Bali would typically not inform the customer on the prices of said items and would not provide menus too. Then, when the bill comes, it amounts to a small fortune for a meal that would cost significantly less in the touristic areas of Malaysia.
Another user shared a similar experience stating that their meal cost them about RM650. Many state that the food there is not worth the price. However, there are others stating that locations near resorts and restaurants with more exotic settings can cost more for their convenience and ambience.
