Inspector Sheila, a well-known woman who has gained attention, has once again caused controversy as a video surfaced depicting her mocking a fellow police officer of the rank of Lance Corporal. It seems that she has become infamous among Malaysian netizens overnight.
Police Officer being rude to subordinates
The 40-second video, believed to be recorded at the Seri Petaling Police Station, went viral after being recently shared on social media. Inspector Sheila questions the Lance Corporal’s identity and rank, asserting her own authority as an inspector and demanding the presence of a Sergeant Major for instructions.
She insists that she should not be given orders by a Lance Corporal and demands to be treated with respect due to her higher rank. In response to the incident, the Kuala Lumpur Police have interviewed the senior officer involved to assist in the investigation. This incident follows previous criticism of Inspector Sheila after two video clips emerged showing her insulting another officer in the Gombak area of Selangor.
The Selangor Police subsequently called her in for questioning at the Gombak District Police Headquarters.
Furthermore, it appears that there has been multiple recorded cases of her lashing out to her subordinates. It is unclear why the inspector is behaving as such, but Netizens are vehemently against her for her actions towards her co-workers. People are saying that she is making the Malaysian police force look bad.
