Just yesterday, the Grab rider went viral after telling two Singaporean tourists off on using the subsidized Ron95 petrol. However, it seemed that even the authorities were on the side of the tourists. Unfortunately for the rider, it seems that he has lost his job.

It appears that there is a massive call on boycotting the Grab app after they fired the Grab rider. Netizens are more sympathetic towards these riders as they are doing a hard job. Furthermore, others are stating that once they have deleted the Grab app, they will definitely give it a 1 star rating on Google.
Netizens are also stating that the app will do nothing about this matter. Twitter users add that if they were to enquire about the incident of said Grab Rider losing his job, they would only twist and turn the story around. However, this is only in the viewpoint of the netizens, and not what Latest Malaysia officially thinks about the app.
