It appears that there are some biologists that require an individual’s excrement (poop). Furthermore, they are stating that you’d get RM50 Aeon/Grab for donating your excrement. You will also receive a gut health report. Seemingly it is supposed to be a research collaboration between Monash University and Asian Microbiome Library Pte Ltd.
Poop donation for money
Since it is a joint collaboration with an official university and a biological lab, it is obviously not a parody. Furthermore, netizens are showing their interests in joining this program in order to exchange their “poop” for money. One user even asked if they’re allowed to donate their excrement 10 times in order to receive the remuneration even more.
In addition to this, it seems that a researcher needs more specimens in order for them to properly conduct the research. Netizens are proactive with research regarding gut health among individuals as it can help researchers find solutions to certain possible health problems that we may have.
