Inter Miami, the new club where Lionel Messi is to perform in the United States was trashed 4-1. They lose to Philadelphia Union last Saturday. The Miami club is aiming to be one of the most successful teams in MLS, with the players like Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Tata Martino. But this defeat shows that it is going to be challenging even for Messi.

Seven-game losing streak?

Reports say the team have become a subject of mockery in the league due to their seven-game losing streak. Worst still, their own player netted an own-goal in this devastating trashing. David Beckham of Man Utd owns part of the club which is not at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, having earned just 15 points from 18 games in the 2023 season.

Well, it is not all lost for Inter since Messi is on his way. He did not play against Philadelphia. He is celebrating his birthday in Argentina.
