In a tweet yesterday a Twitter user going by the handle Demi Rakyat! @Zaki_Yamani_ expressed his desire to see PAS leader A. Hadi Awang dead. This did not go down well with PM Anwar Ibrahim who asked the user to apologise.
Anwar Condemns
“I condemn and am disappointed with the insensitive tweet by Zaki Yamani and I direct him to apologize immediately,” Anwar posted on his official Twitter account. Meanwhile, a local portal says Zaki Yamani is an aide to Anwar’s polsec. The Twitter user denied being an aid to a political figure.

“An aide to Anwar Ibrahim’s political secretary has posted a “prayer” for the death of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang and former leader Dr Mahathir Mohamad,” wrote Malaysia Now.
