Two agencies under the KDN are currently being investigated for allegations of corruption and abuse of power. PM Anwar Ibrahim says the agencies involved are the Immigration and the JPN.

KLIA VISIT

During a visit to KLIA Terminal 1, Anwar found that there were a small group of immigration officers accustomed to old practices. He emphasized the need for immediate and stern action against them to uphold the integrity of the immigration department.

2 Agencies under KDN

At the JPN some officers were found to be demanding payment for issuing citizenship certificates. He found only one out of seven scanning machines in the Kastam at Terminal 1 was functioning. The PM says there is the need to improve the delivery of information from lower levels to superiors.
