QR menus are one of the least liked options when it comes to ordering food in certain restaurants. This is due to some of these restaurants having a complex user interface for their digital menu. However, there are a select few restaurants that managed to give the users a better interface.
Now, there is a call to boycott restaurants who are forcing their customers to order their meals digitally.
QR menus, a big issue for customers?
Twitter user, Bitcoin Malaysia states that netizens should support restaurants with physical menus rather than ones that insist on QR menus. It appears that some users are wanting a simple dining experience without using gadgets and sharing their data while ordering a meal. Others state that restaurants are increasing prices while cutting costs such as not printing physical menus any longer.
There are some Twitter users stating that customers should be given options to choose from. Some users would be fine ordering from a QR menu, but there are some who would find it tedious and may prefer ordering from a physical menu.
