Since the time PM Anwar Ibrahim took power in November last year, until today, the opposition has run a campaign against all that is not Muslim. They also ran campaigns against all that is not PAS-linked.
Now, it is too late for PAS leader caretaker MB of Kedah Sanusi Md Nor to come and apologetically say PN will protect non-Muslims and their lifestyle. He responds to Khairy Jamaluddin’s question how PAS would break the perception held by non-Muslims that the party would change their way of life should it rule.
PN Promises
Sanusi sought to assure non-Muslims that their lifestyles would not change under a Perikatan Nasional (PN) government that includes PAS. Kedah banned 4D shops. In Penang, the MP who defeated Nurul Izzah in Permatang Pauh campaigned against 7-11 selling alcoholic drinks. Mahathir, who joined PN, is ranting against non-Muslim rights in the country…and then we got PN promises now.
