The opposition coalition, Perikatan Nasional has been slandering the current government for the last few months. However, now that the state elections are coming up, the government is releasing statistics on the prices of goods during PN’s rule and the now PH-BN rule.
Goods prices cheaper than PN’s rule
Netizens state that under PH’s rule in 2019, it was significantly better than it was in 2022. Furthermore, it is duly noted that there was a pandemic in 2020, which did in fact raise the prices on a lot of essentials.
Some Twitter users were defending PN stating that the prices of goods significantly increased under their rule was simply due to Covid restrictions. However, netizens state that they ruled up till 2022, when the virus and its effects died down significantly.
