Bella Khan tweets about the amount she paid to LHDN last year. The amount paid could buy an average Malaysian a standard terrace house. In addition to this, she states that she is more than happy to help contribute to our country. Twitter users are informing her that she could also apply for a monthly installment plan with the government.
However, she claims that paying the government a lump sum is a much easier way to clear the issue out.
Despite this, there are some Malaysians who are telling the business owner/influencer to reduce her tax payment. This triggered a segment of netizens who claim that the rich should pay a higher tax, but at the same time are shocked that some of their beloved public figures are enduring such payments.
