The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, has stated that the issue regarding Kedah Menteri Besar Sanusi Nor’s controversial remarks has not been resolved.
Sanusi allegedly insulted the Sultan of Selangor by questioning his choice of Amirudin Shari as the state’s Menteri Besar. Sanusi has apologized but blamed PH for the mess.
Deeper Trouble
Sultan Sharafuddin granted audiences to Selangor PAS commissioner Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi and Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan, during which they discussed Sanusi’s statement and its impact on the Selangor royal institution. The Sultan has declared that the matter remains unresolved, despite Sanusi’s apology letter.
