This is the current topic that is under heavy debate among Malaysians. Some are agreeing with this new RM100 haircut fine rule, while others are disagreeing with it. Furthermore, this applies only to Muslim men, but it is sparking a debate on Twitter nevertheless.
Hair-raising drama
Netizens are stating that Muslim men should know the difference between what is allowed and what isn’t allowed in the religion. However, there are debates when it comes to a non-Muslim woman cutting a Muslim man’s hair.
Apparently the incident happened at a Kota Bharu store where the MPKB was seen giving a fine to a hair salon for doing as such.
There are those who claim that this applies to Muslim women as well. However, others claim that depending on the situation, the religion does allow certain leeways. Regardless, it seems that those on Twitter are in agreement with the state of Kelantan doing as such.
