Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub, the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister, passed away at the age of 61 due to a brain haemorrhage at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah in Alor Setar. His daughter, Fatihah Salahuddin, confirmed the news in a Facebook post, stating that he died on Sunday at 9:23 pm. He leaves behind a wife and six children.
