MAE apps having hacking problems
Twitter users claim that the app is now facing a lot of technical errors. If anyone received this message, it would mean that they need new cards and a new banking account. Netizens are feeling frustrated as both CIMBs and Maybank’s platform are having issues like this. A user claims that they are now more than willing to send a pigeon carrying their cash to the person they need to transfer money to.
Another user got a response from Maybank regarding their MAE app. The response is that typically those with similar passwords can cause problems towards accounts with said similar passwords. Netizens state that iOS users are facing these issues more than their android counterparts. The bank needs to take a look at what is going on.
