Recently, the famous singer from Kulim, Masyitah Masya, decided to upload a photo of herself in full Barbie gear. However, the catch was that she wasn’t wearing the hijab that she frequently wears. Some netizens are vehemently against this idea as in Islam, it is recommended that a woman wears the hijab.

There are netizens who are sharing their concerns on her getting attacked by others. Some state that it is Masyitah Masya’s choice on whether she would like to wear her hijab or not. Others state that it is haram and she must wear it. Currently, there is a huge debate going on about this matter.
On the other hand, other free haired girls are openly stating that they disagree with the actions of Masya. They state that what is “haram” should not be normalized. Regardless, we may not know the actual reasons on why the singer chose to upload a photo without her hijab on.
