Skipping the PRN is a tragic move, extremely tragic, for the MCA says former party leader Dr Chua Soil Lek. He says if he was still the MCA leader, now under the leadership of Mr Wee Ka Siong, “I would feel embarassed.”
Dr Chua tough on MCA
Speaking to Sin Chew the good Dr adds that the MCA is in a current state of pity and is pathetic. “Its existence is entirely nominal. A lot of members are just trying to please the party president. If MCA’s top leaders continue to maintain this attitude, the party will be doomed.”
On July 5, MCA announced that it will not contest in the elections in six states and would focus on preparing for the 16th general election. The MIC has also taken such a stand.
