The popularity of Alphards and Vellfires among the upper class in Malaysia is currently being subjected to criticism on Twitter. Furthermore, users feel that they look as though they are “washing machines” on wheels. Netizens still do not understand how popular these expensive cars are.
Vellfire dubbed as washing machine cars
Unfortunately for those who like these cars, netizens are claiming that the Vellfire gives off “van jenazah” vibes. It is probably due to its large size without any significant curves that could possibly be ticking people off. However, the cars are meant to have a lavish and comfortable interior.
Netizens are also complaining on how the drivers of these cars are allegedly road bullies on the road. They claim that these cars would tend to “poke” smaller cars in front as they’d prefer to go faster on the highway.
