The election is currently the biggest topic that is being discussed all over social media as it just happened yesterday. However, netizens are advising the Federal government to not focus on Kelantan or Kedah as they will consistently vote for the opposition party, PAS. This is regardless of the amount of subsidies and investments the government has placed.
Federal government urged by Malaysians to focus on their states
Following that, netizens are discussing this as the probable reason why our former Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir was hard on those not supporting him. However, there are some who are supporting the decision of the Federal government in helping the states that do not support them as the current PM promises to help all Malaysians.
Others suggest that the proportion of investments should reflect on the state’s financial profitability. Some users are saying that these states are in need of development but they are selecting leaders who are content with how these states are currently at.
