One of the bigger issues for renters in the Klang Valley is the partitioned rooms. These rooms are typically cramped and would cost below RM1,000 a month, depending on the location. However, netizens have always been vehemently against them as some might see it rather inhumane for someone to live in such small quarters.

Partitioned rental rooms banned

There are users who have been pioneering against partitioned rental rooms for years on social media. However, it appears that cases like these are only banned if they’re done in the living and dining rooms. If a normal bedroom is split, it is apparently still okay.

Others are upset that this is not fully banned. They claim that there must be a way to report “cheeky” landlords who do this while charging inflated prices towards their tenants.
