Typically, most would avoid borrowing money from them, but unfortunately there are still some that do. However, recently one of them splashed a house, but it turned out to be the wrong house and they offered to clean it up.

Netizens are stating that the Ah Longs are now oddly having good business practices. Typically, some might not even offer to clean up as well. According to local reports, they apparently made the mistake by splashing on the wrong house twice. Hence the appropriate thing to do is to apologize and help clean up.
Others state that this is still not the way to do things. They joke that a crime is done to someone else, but you end up helping them, it does not elevate you from the crime. Regardless, it is still a nice touch to see them admitting to their mistakes.
