A pro-Pakatan Harapan association called Peis has expressed hope that an Indian representative from PKR can be made a Selangor executive council member to represent the community’s interests. It says the DAP have held the positions for two terms but now PKR should be given a chance.

Dr Sathia Prakash Nadarajan, the chairperson of the Selangor Indian executives association or Peis reportedly told a local media outlet the decision ultimately lies in the hands of the Harapan leadership. Note that out of the 22 PKR branches in Selangor, 8 are headed by Indian Malaysians.
