Ever since the release of the iPhone 5S in 2013, Apple has made iPhone cases out of leather. However, it appears that for the iPhone 15, over 10 years later, they might actually stop producing leather iPhone cases. Following that, the price increases of these cases in Malaysia has rather been steep. The first leather case used to cost RM119, now they’re RM269.
Apple to stop making leather iPhone cases?
X users are stating that they would not buy a new leather case soon as they are content with their current iPhones. However, there are some users who long for the mini version of the smartphones that Apple has to offer. Despite this, the tech giant seems to feel that they are in the minority.
In addition to this, netizens are complaining about the poorer quality of Apple’s silicone cases. They feel that these cases tend to break a lot faster than the leather ones. However, there will still be alternative companies making leather cases for iPhones.
