For most Malaysians, they would feel that owning luxury cars like Mercedes and BMWs are the epitome of class and grandeur. However, they do not know the hidden costs in maintaining them. They can cost significantly more than you think for fixing the simplest of things.
BMW Owner shocks X users with maintenance fees
However, there are some who are stating that a BMW will receive 5 years worth of free maintenance and warranty. Despite this, there are plenty of drivers out there that own cars that are significantly older. Furthermore, the thought is to replace your car every 5 years in order to avoid ghastly maintenance fees.
Oddly enough, there are other X users claiming that a Porsche is cheaper to maintain. But the catch is they do not send their Porsche to the authentic repair shop. They will instead send it to an unofficial repair shop that sources original parts in order to do the fixing and maintaining.
