The account of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on X, chedetofficial, reacted to the widely spreading information that the ex-PM siphoned billions stacked in Taiwan from 1984 to 1999. The admin of his account is urging the person spreading the ‘false’ news (so says the Admin) to reveal their identity. That is for Mahathir to be able to sue them.

The Mahathir account on X says, “there are many slanderous/false posts made without proof through this account. We would like to take legal action unfortunately this account is anonymous. If the accusations against Dr Mahathir are substantiated and substantiated, please report them to the authorities so that action can be taken. If brought to court he can defend himself.”
