Eden Hazard, the Belgian football star, has announced his retirement at the age of 32 due to a career plagued by injuries. Hazard, who rarely featured for Real Madrid during his four-year tenure, wrote on Instagram that he felt it was the right time to stop after more than 700 matches in 16 years as a professional footballer.

He expressed gratitude for living his dream and thanked everyone who supported him. Hazard began his career at Lille, where he rose to prominence, and later moved to Chelsea. He played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s successes, winning two Premier League titles and several cups.
His time at Real Madrid was marred by injuries, but he still contributed to six trophy wins, including two La Liga titles and a Champions League victory.
