Malaysian powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin claimed the gold medal in the men’s 72kg event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Para Games, setting a new Games record with a lift of 230kg. The previous record of 229kg was held by Iranian powerlifter Roohallah Rostami.
