The investigation into the shattered glass flooring on a bridge at The Geong tourist attraction in the Limpakuwus pine forest, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, has revealed significant safety oversights. The glass layer on the bridge was found to be extremely thin, measuring only 1.2cm.

The incident has raised concerns about safety and sustainability at Indonesia’s tourist destinations.
