Describing the accusations as a significant defamation, the General Manager and Developmental Licensee of Reza Food Services Co Ltd (RFS), Abdulrahman Alireza, also believes that the boycott of the McDonald’s Malaysia restaurant chain should not have been carried out solely due to a misguided perception.
Ali Reza Regrets
While expressing his regret, he acknowledges that the boycott has, to some extent, affected the company’s revenue and had an impact on the majority of Muslim employees.
“The allegations and stories (claiming that McDonald’s supports Israel) are untrue. McDonald’s Malaysia pays royalties (to McDonald’s Corporation) for the training support system and operational costs they have provided.”
