The recent topic of Malaysians boycotting American fast food chains due to the conflict in the Middle East is a popular one. However, of all the lists available, KFC does not appear to be on any of them. Unfortunately for the brand, it seems that their restaurants are pretty empty in recent days.
KFC getting boycotted by Malaysians?
Netizens state that one of the reasons why they’re boycotting KFC is due to their alleged price increases and smaller chickens. Furthermore, they state that Texas Chicken is a better option as nowadays their prices are more or less the same.
However, some state that the restaurants in their areas are not suffering from boycotts of any kind. They state that it could be due to some places having longer operational hours or that there are “pasar malams” night markets going on in that vicinity.
