MPs deliberately missing parliamentary sessions may have their names published on the Parliament’s website, according to Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul. This measure aims to enhance attendance and accountability. It appears that there is strong support for this.

Furthermore, netizens state that these MPs should lose their positions in parliament if they’re always absent. There is no point in having them deciding the country’s future if they are unable to attend the parliamentary sessions. Seemingly, netizens are angry at the MPs who aren’t attending these sessions.

Others state that in these challenging times, many are unable to make end’s meet. However, these MPs are able to live their lives comfortably while getting allowances from the government. Hence, the importance of their attendance needs to be emphasized.
