High Court Set to Hear Malaysian Citizens’ New Lawsuit Over COVID-19 Vaccine Side Effects

A lawsuit by Malaysian citizens against the government and the Ministry of Health over alleged adverse effects from the COVID-19 vaccine faces a High Court hearing today. Alongside the government and health ministry, it names former Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, former Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, and vaccine manufacturers Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Pharmaniaga. 

Malaysian citizens’ lawsuit over COVID-19 vaccine

Plaintiffs claim coercion by officials to avoid legal action post severe vaccine side effects. They demand accountability for fatalities, disabilities, and losses, seeking damages. Additionally, they urge future vaccines to undergo clinical trials and demand an injunction halting further widespread COVID-19 vaccine distribution until thorough clinical reports are provided.
