The TikTok user who posted a bounty of RM5 million (S$1.43 million) to eliminate Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim did it for fun, says Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain. He says the investigation has been completed and the 34-year-old suspect is believed to have just started using TikTok.

“He is believed to have done that for fun,” says Mr Razarudin. However, the PKR Youth who made a police report against the individual believes it stems from political hatred. Nevertheless, the police says it is completing the investigation papers to hand over to the AG for further action on Dec 4.
