End of the Religious PAS?

A podcast on Jangan Pajak Otak has dissected the situation in the PAS after the big win by Dr Samsuri Mokhtar who is also the MB of Terengganu. The two persons intervening on the podcast said some interesting things, like why is the PAS unable to present a religious leader as their PM candidate. They also discussed the impact of the PAS presenting Dr Sam, a technocrat, as their PM candidate.

Essentially, the speakers in the podcast believe the PAS have used all their ‘religious’ angles and theories but failed when it comes to presenting them as the valid alternative to the PH-BN. They also believe the PAS is strong in kampung but when it comes to the cities, they fail, and they have realised this. That is why they are pushing the technocrat as their de-facto leader.
