A former Harakah printer obtained a swift court ruling compelling PAS to settle a debt totaling RM656,233.69. This came from the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court, granting NAJ Resources (M) Sdn Bhd’s plea for a summary judgment against the political party and two other defendants: PAS Secretary-General Takiyuddin Hassan and Galeri Media Serbanika Sdn Bhd.

Upon contact, plaintiff’s lawyer Putra Taulan Rasul confirmed Judge Lailatul Zuraida Harron & Harun’s decision. The civil court also granted costs of RM3,000. Defendants’ lawyer Mohd Faizi Che Abu affirmed the decision, indicating an appeal to the High Court. The case, initially involving Harakah and two printers, was reported by Malaysiakini in August 2019.
