In a series of responses online, Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli says his role is not only to fix the economy but also to counter the attacks by ‘foolish’ hooligans from the opposition online. Some users on X for example have criticised Rafizi for visiting plantation areas or small business units to encourage locals to develop their own businesses. They told Rafizi in harsh tones that he is supposed to fix the economy, not look at plants etc.

Rafizi responded with sarcasm and a series of Tweets that have left the bandwagon of the opposition cybertroopers numb, for now. They had to get the help of a gullible opposition MP who is also questioning why Rafizi is behaving like a ‘citro’. Nevertheless, the Minister has a point. If he does not respond, who will?
