Absolutely Sick

Hodgson criticised Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk, accusing the Liverpool captain of deliberately kicking the ball against Ayew at a free-kick for the latter’s first booking of the afternoon. He said you do not need a player like this in Liverpool to get yellow cards for opponents.

Salah’s 200th Goal

An eventful game shifted dramatically in 98 seconds when Jordan Ayew’s second yellow card for fouling Harvey Elliott reduced Crystal Palace to 10 men. Mohamed Salah quickly leveled the score with his 200th goal for Liverpool, 150th in the Premier League. Liverpool secured victory as Elliott scored in stoppage time.
